Roots MVR Steam Compressor

Roots MVR steam compressor is commonly used for compressing water vapor in MVR (Ath-chomhbhrú Meicniúil Gal) evaporation systems. The secondary steam generated in the MVR evaporator is compressed by the Roots-type steam compressor, increasing its pressure, temperature, and enthalpy. This compressed steam is then sent to the evaporator’s heating chamber as heating steam, maintaining the liquid in a boiling state, while the heating steam itself condenses into water. In this way, the steam that would otherwise be wasted is fully utilized, recovering latent heat, improving thermal efficiency, reducing the need for external heating and cooling resources, lowering energy consumption, and reducing pollution.
